Vinyl can be one of the most economical & quickest option to decorate a shirt. The vinyl method is restricted to the use of only a few colors and is suitable to only certain types of fabric. Your desired design is cut from a high quality vinyl and then added to the garment by the use of a Heat Press machine. The heat press is designed to apply the appropriate pressure along with the appropriate temperature needed to apply the vinyl to the garment. Our heat applied vinyl is very durable and is bonded with improved adhesive that guarantees that your design will not peel away in the wash. This option is generally used for Names and Numbers for teams. T- Shirt vinyl is also a popular option for fast turnaround for teams or groups with a small number of individuals stock a generous supply of heat apply vinyl in various colors. Vinyl Names: Two - three inch letters are the standard for vinyl names. Embroidery Images will vinyl cut letters of any size. Vinyl Numbers: 8" numbers are most common for soccer. 6" is typically used for basketball. 10" or 12" numbers are used for football. 6-8” is typically used for baseball and softball. Vinyl cutter: Embroidery Images has one of the industry’s top notch cutters onsite which allows us to create a custom name within minutes. Bring in your typed names by size and garment and Embroidery Images will cut names and press them on your apparel. Process: Vinyl is cut (Numbers, Name, or Simple vector artwork). The garment is loaded on to the heat press palette. The artwork is placed on the garment. Then the heat press is pulled down on the garment for around six seconds at 330 F (Time, pressure and heat depend on the fabric being pressed). The garment is then removed and cooled. Once the vinyl is pressed on to the garment, the vinyl should remain for the life of the garment. Typical turnaround time on heat press orders, depending on the workload, is 7-10 days.
